Ingredients

toasted sesame seeds
1/4

ground sumac

tablespoons
dried thyme
2
tablespoons
dried oregano
2
tablespoons
marjoram
2
teaspoons
cayenne pepper
Instructions
Using a mortar and pestle, roughly crush the toasted sesame seeds.
Transfer the crushed sesame seeds to a bowl, then add in the ground sumac, thyme, oregano, marjoram, and cayenne pepper.
Stir to combine the herbs and spices. Use immediately, or transfer to an airtight container and store in a shaded area of your kitchen.
Notes
If there's concern over spiciness, cut the amount of cayenne used in half.
