Place one habanero wheel in a copper mug and muddle the habanero to release the oils.
Add ice, then pour in the vodka and lime juice.
Top with ginger beer, then stir well and serve.
Habanero peppers too spicy? Use jalapeño peppers instead. They don't have the same fruitiness that we love paired with the ginger beer, but jalapeños are also much lower on the pepper scale in terms of heat.
