Notes

The Sriracha is optional - more to provide an additional bump up in heat than to add to the overall flavor. Sriracha is the best hot sauce for this in this recipe (don't use a hot sauce with a strong vinegar base). Another option is to use a quarter or half teaspoon of cayenne pepper powder. Be sure to stir the sauce well to fully mix in the cayenne if you go that route.
