African Chermoula Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 cup cilantro
  • ½ cup mint leaves
  • ½ cup basil leaves
  • 1 lemon
  • ½ teaspoon coriander powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin powder
  • 1 teaspoon hot chili flakes
  • 1 tablespoon pickled jalapenos
  • cup olive oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Place all of the herbs into a small food processor
  • Grate in the lemon zest and half the lemon and add the juice
  • Add the cumin, coriander, chili flakes, saltvand jalapenos
  • Pulse the processor until finely chopped
  • Combine with the olive oil
  • Serve as a dip or use as a marinade for fish or chicken
