Ingredients

  • 15 ounce can dark cherries in syrup or black cherries
  • 6 tablespoons hoisin sauce

Instructions

  • Using a strainer, drain the dark cherries, keeping the syrup to the side.
  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add the cherries, half the syrup, and the hoisin sauce.
  • Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring often to thicken the sauce.
  • Remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool.
