Cherry Hoisin Sauce
Sweet and fiery, earthy and exotic

- 15 ounce can dark cherries in syrup or black cherries
- 6 tablespoons hoisin sauce
Using a strainer, drain the dark cherries, keeping the syrup to the side.
In a saucepan over medium heat, add the cherries, half the syrup, and the hoisin sauce.
Bring the sauce to a simmer, stirring often to thicken the sauce.
Remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool.
