Drizzle or dip, oh so good.
Rich dark chocolate and spicy cayenne collide in this simple spicy chocolate sauce. Try it drizzled on vanilla ice cream or as a dipping sauce for fresh fruits, pastries, and churros. it’s smooth meets earthy meets spice.
Want it a little more smoky? Try chipotle powder instead of cayenne. It makes for an excellent end-of-BBQ dessert treat.
- 1 cup dark chocolate chopped
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 teaspoons cayenne powder
- Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan over low heat, stirring frequently until melted.
Add a little smokiness by substituting chipotle powder for cayenne.
