Five Must-Have Seriously Spicy Party Snacks

When it comes to party snacks, we love them spicy. The spicier the better. And that often means spicy party snacks that are tough to find at regular supermarkets (though that’s changing quite a bit!). Here are some of our favorite options that you can find online – at minimum – and maybe one or two even at your local grocer. So when you’re ready to take the heat to another level at a Superbowl party, a summer barbecue, or a spring fiesta, reach for one of these options. They bring it.

Blue Diamond Almonds, Habanero BBQ

One of many cool flavor options by Blue Diamond.

A staple of the coffee table, kitchen counter, and home bar for the big game day, almonds definitely come in a lot of flavors these days. But if you want to go for the heat, you’ll want to reach for the habanero BBQ flavor made by Blue Diamond. They’ve got the tang of tasty barbecue mixed with that slightly sweet heat that the habanero is famous for. They also make a couple of other awesome flavors as well that’ll fit the desire for a spice kick, including lime and chili and jalapeño smokehouse. Yum.

Ass Kickin’ Habanero Popcorn

The packaging says it all.

There should be no doubt what you’re in for when you start popping a bag of Ass Kickin’ Habanero Popcorn. This isn’t for the meek. If you find yourself reaching for the cayenne pepper out of your cupboard whenever you make popcorn, you’ll feel right at home here. This is a small step above that. But not so spicy that it’ll scare off newcomers who can take a little heat!

Da Bomb Ghost Pepper Nuts

Snack with care!

Now this is a spicy snack not for the masses. Da Bomb – known for their extreme hot sauces – kicks up spicy snacking to mouth burning levels. Thes peanuts are coated with both super-hot ghost pepper powder and habanero. This is one option meant for true extreme eaters – take caution putting these out for unknowing friends and family at your next gathering.

Katie’s Seriously Spicy Beef Jerky

A winner of many awards…

Katie’s Seriously Spicy Beef Jerky uses cayenne pepper as its heat source (30,000 to 50,000 Scoville heat units) – so it’s spicy, but not beyond the normal spice rack spicy. Its won many awards, including a Scovie, so you know the spiciness and flavor are both top notch.

Hot and Spicy Chex Mix

What’s a party table without Chex Mix?

Chex Mix comes in a ton of tasty flavors, but this one take’s the prize for us. Sure it’s not as spicy as some of the other party snacks listed above, but it’s still pretty darn hot. ANd Chex Mix is always a ton of fun to eat. There are plenty of nooks and crannies to really let the spiciness permeate each and every bite!
