What is jalapeño powder?
Green is good. Jalapeño powder has a bright, almost grassy-like flavor that’s tasty mixed in salsas and sprinkled in salads. It’s also a perfect pairing for lighter meats, like chicken and turkey – as well as fish. Jalapeño ranges from 2,500 to 8,000 Scoville heat units, a range at the lower end of medium on the pepper scale. Most can enjoy this heat level, if not over-used.
