Your Suggestions for the Best Chili & Spice Combos for Chili Oil

I, like so many, am a huge fan of chili oil, and I enjoy experimenting with different chili varieties and additional spices to add to my brews. What are your favorite chili oil ingredients?
Mmm chili oil. Good question. I'm a big fan of chile de arbol infused with olive oil. It has a delicious nutty/smoky flavor that works real well as an infusion.
My latest success included approximately equal proportions of Byadagi and Kashmiri chilis, additionally flavored with smaller proportions of toasted whole sesame (white & black), fennel, cumin, and coriander seeds, a very small bit of Mexican cinnamon, and a single "petal" of star anise. I think I used about 90% grapeseed oil and 10% Japanese toasted sesame oil. We've been consuming it ravenously, so I don't think it's going to remain in the fridge very long. I think lemongrass, as per the previous comment, would be an amazing inclusion to this blend.
My favourite has to be chipotle oil. I hydrade dried chipotle in some warm rapeseed oil and allow to cool and keep in the fridge. It won't last a very long time, but, it won't need to!!!
