A dipping favorite, from french fries to crab cakes.
Spicing up a basic store-bought mayonnaise is a great way to add a twist to traditional meals. Chipotle aioli, for instance, take your normal mayo and packs it with punch. Chipotle pepper is dried jalapeño pepper – smoky and earthy in taste. This aioli makes for a terrific dipping sauce for everything from french fries to fried fish, like crab cakes. It’s also terrific on sandwiches and burgers, so whip some up to spice up your lunch.
- Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir until fully mixed.
- For best taste, refrigerate for at least 30 minutes prior to serving.
